CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Corpus Christi police are looking for a man stole jewelry from a local pawn shop.
The incident happened at a pawn shop business located in the 4300 block of Ayers Street around 5:30 p.m.
Police at the scene said a Hispanic male suspect walked into the business, pulled out a hammer, and smashed a jewelry case. The suspect then took an unknown amount of jewelry and ran away from the scene.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance video of the incident.
A sign posted at the front door of the business stated the business was closed.
As of Monday evening, police have not located the suspect.
