CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Corpus Christi Police Department officers were busy over the Fourth of July weekend searching for fireworks violators.
In 2019, CCPD issued 13 citations, and that's because officers say they can only issue a citation if someone is caught in the act.

CCPD officers say they were able to issue 28 citations over the Independence Day holiday weekend, and one arrest was made.
