CCISD spending more than half a million dollars on desk shields for classrooms

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Independent School District is investing more than half a million dollars to protect students from COVID-19.

The district approved the purchase of desk shields and clips and Monday, which will cost the district more than $574,000.

According to the district, the shields will be purchased for every classroom in the district.
