MONDAY UPDATE: More schools, ISDs providing students free meals

Several schools and school districts in the Coastal Bend are offering grab-and-go lunches to help parents with a few extra kids at home during their extended Spring Breaks.

The Corpus Christi Independent School District, Gregory-Portland ISD, Flour Bluff ISD, and Kingsville's Jubilee Academy are providing students free lunches. Tuloso-Midway and Ingleside also will provide breakfast.

Students 18 years old and younger are eligible to pick up free food. Services will be available Monday, March 16-Friday, March 20.

Hours are as follows:

Tuloso-Midway: 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. at T-M Middle School

CCISD: 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at any of its six high schools

Flour Bluff: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in front of the FBISD central kitchen

G-P: noon - 1:30 p.m. at Austin and Clark elementaries

Ingleside: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.; Ingleside Primary School Campus

Jubilee Academy: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Parents must have their children with them to pick up food; food will not be provided for adults.

All services will have curbside service, and ask parents to not get out of the car.

CCISD will be providing a sandwich, vegetables, fruit and milk. See more here.

Jubilee said its offerings will consist of protein, grains, vegetables and fruit, and that milk also will be available.

Flour Bluff. T-M and Ingleside did not provide a menu.
