CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi firefighters were called over to an apartment fire on the city's northside.
Reports of smoke and flames were seen in the 3000 block of Buffalo Street near I-37 around 10:25 a.m. Wednesday.
When firefighters arrived, they reported heavy smoke and flames coming from a second-story apartment. The apartment was vacant at the time.
It took crews 30 minutes to control the fire.
There is no word on what started the blaze.
There were no injuries.
