CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — One of the region's top employers is hiring.
The Corpus Christi Army Depot is looking to fill a variety of positions, holding a hiring event for veterans at the Sunrise Career Center.
CCAD is looking for close to 200 new employees, including mechanical engineers. Attendees were given on-the-spot interviews.
"They come in, we quickly review their résumés to see where they would fit in, and we send them down the hallway,” Sgt. Maj. Patricia Wahl of CCAD said. “We have six agencies, or six directors right now, doing interviews on the spot."
If you couldn't make it today, CCAD will be holding interviews that are also open to the public at the Sunrise Career Center will be open again tomorrow from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
