CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — We're calling on the community to come out and support the city's wheelchair basketball team.
The Corpus Christi Rimz are holding a fundraiser called "Spokes vs Heroes,” as they take on area first responders on Saturday.
CC Rimz pays for all its own expenses and Saturday's fundraiser will help keep them rolling.
It's happening at the YWCA on Corona Drive.
You can enjoy a different take on the classic sport of basketball.
A donation at the door gets you in and T-shirts will be available for purchase.
Tip-off is just after 12 p.m. with all the proceeds going to help the Rimz.
