INGLESIDE, Texas — Residents of San Patricio County have been issued a count wide burn ban.
The Texas A&M Forest Service website says, "In Texas, local governments are empowered to take action on the behalf of those they serve. When drought conditions exist, a burn ban can be put in place by a county judge or county commissioners court prohibiting or restricting outdoor burning for public safety."
According to a post by the Ingleside Fire Department, the ban is set to be lifted in 90 days.
