CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Blue Angels have released its show schedules for 2020 and 2021.
The acrobatic air troupe will appear at NAS-Kingsville next year April 4-5.
The Blue Angels appeared at NAS-Corpus Christi this year, and will return May 1-2, 2021.
Blue Angel No. 7 was in Kingsville on Friday to plan for the upcoming event.
The Blue Angels are a flight demonstration team stationed in Pensacola, Fla. The group kicks off next year's tour across the country in March.
People, such as Linda Sisti, have been known to come from all over the country to see them perform.
Sisti is from California, and flew to Corpus Christi to watch this year's performance at NAS-CC in April.
"I think it's just the precision of the Blue Angels," she said, then. "It just really moves me personally."
The group was formed in 1946, and consists of seven U.S. Navy Boeing F/A 18 Hornets.
The jets can reach speeds that surpass the speed of sound, accomplishing zero gravity, and mimicking the effects of being in space -- a sensation reporter Chelsea Torres experienced in April.
"You're gonna experience exactly what astronauts do ... I'm gonna hold you into zero-g," Blue Angels pilot Lt. Cary Rickoff told her while demonstrating the plane's capabilities. "Just relax let your arms and legs float up. If you see any dirt or dust fly off the bottom, uh, don't eat it."
