CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A blood donation was held in memory of Trevor Hamer, who was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2016.
The event was held in front of Hooters, where Hamer’s accident occurred four years ago.
His mother was in attendance, donating blood in his memory.
“It's a perfect way to honor my son, and keep his memory alive in our community,” his mother said. “It’s also a good way to spotlight the need for blood in our community, and we need a lot of blood right now.”
The Coastal Bend Blood Center hopes to bring this event to the area on a yearly basis.
