CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Fire crews are currently putting out hotspots from a large grass fire that erupted on County Road 77 and FM 624. That's between Calallen and Bluntzer.
Crews from Annaville and Robstown have been on the scene since about 1:30 p.m. when the fire started. Crews worked extra hard to protect some cotton bales that were in the area.
No structures have been damaged and no injuries have been reported.
