CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A wildfire that started Saturday in Brooks County continues to burn.
The so-called Blanket Fire has burned nearly 6,000 acres of land and is now 75 percent contained.
Fire crews from several South Texas communities have been battling the fire since it began.
Brooks county Judge Eric Ramos said the fire started in the southwest part of the county, and it is currently unknown how it began.
