PORT ARANSAS, Texas — Oil and gas barges that have been stuck in the dunes on San Jose Island near Port Aransas since Hurricane Harvey washed ashore finally have been removed.
Kirby Corporation - which owns the barges - had hoped to have them gone by the end of the month. But it looks like they were ahead of schedule.
