A traffic stop in on U.S. Hwy 281 South led deputies to find $40,000 hidden in black duct-tape packages Friday.

A Facebook post from the Sheriff Daniel Bueno's office states the money was found after the driver consented to a vehicle search. The post states K9s were called and detected narcotics, and nine packages were found containing the money.
