The Martinez family moved into their dream home thanks to Operation Finally Home.

U.S. Army Sgt. Julio Martinez, his wife and kids got their first look at their new home.

"It's beyond our expectations," Julio said.

"Oh my god!" said Kyra Martinez, Julio's daughter, when she opened her bedroom door.

"What's the first thing you want to do in your room?"

"Jump in my bed," she said, laughing.

The home, which is fully furnished, is a gift.

"I wished for a house like this," said Juliet Zalli Martinez, Julio's daughter. "They made our dreams possible and i just want to thank them and bless them thank you."

Martinez, an Army veteran, felt called to serve after the Sept. 11 attacks.

He was injured severely while serving.

The home took only six months to build and volunteers left notes of encouragment inside the home's framing.

While this home is a 'thank you' to him and his family, he and his family could not stop thanking everyone involved in making his and his family's dreams come true.

"It's not enough hugs and thank you's to say how much we really appreciate everybody coming together."

"Well, we want to thank them I don't think 'I thank you' is enough we're so, so grateful for everything they've done, bringing the whole community together."

The Martinez family is finally home.

And a huge thank you to everyone who made this dream a reality including but not limited to Braselton Homes, H-E-B, Zarsky Lumber, volunteers and many other businesess.
