If you plan on driving somewhere to celebrate the new year, Apollo Towing Service is making sure you get home safely.
Their "No excuse" holiday towing campaign kicked off last week and will run through the new year.
They're offering free towing services to anyone who wants to avoid getting behind the wheel after they've had too much to drink.
The company will have 26 tow trucks on standby all weekend to help folks get home safely.
"We will get you home at the end of your festivities and when you wake up in the morning your car will be in your driveway damage-free, and you'll be home safe and sound," said Apollo Towing Services vice-president Michael Staff. "Without any kind of arrest or injury . . . and really that's what the program is for . . . to make sure that we are reducing those types of events in our community."
The service is being offered to residents of Corpus Christi, Robstown, and Portland until Jan. 1 at 6 p.m.
Only the driver of the vehicle will be able to receive a free ride home, you have proper proof of residency and keys to the vehicle.
