Fire crews from Aransas Pass, Rockport and Portland were called in to help the Ingleside Volunteer Fire Department fight a blaze Wednesday night at an Ingleside apartment complex.
Residents were evacuated from 16 units of the Downtown Ingleside Apartments and there were no injuries reported.
The fire did damage two of the apartments.
No word on what set it off.
