TUCSON, Ariz. — A bobcat attacked five people , including a 4-year-old girl, at a campground in southern Arizona Sunday, wildlife officials say.
It happened in the evening at Shannon Campground near Mt. Graham, according to the Arizona Game and Fish Department. All victims were treated at a nearby hospital and released.
Officials say the bobcat has not been captured, and is "at large" and "being sought."
Officials are advising campers to avoid the Shannon and Snow Flat campgrounds while they look for the bobcat involved.
Anyone who has seen an aggressive bobcat in the area should call the department as soon as possible at 623-236-7201.
