Alocal nonprofit that offers services to residents who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault needs your help.
The Purple Door is currently accepting items like shampoo, body wash, diapers, blankets, conditioner, and wipes, just to name a few.
We’re told supplies are running low.
“We have had just a surgence of people in our shelter. and we can house up to 65 people, but over the weekend we went up to 83.”
The nonprofit usually sees a rise in numbers at their shelter during the summer, however, usually not so early in the season.
Anyone wishing to make a donation can call the purple door admin office to discuss a drop off time and location.
