Man accused of breaking into homes overnight, arrested

Police say they have arrested a man who allegedly broke into homes while the homeowner were sleeping.

Detectives with the criminal investigation division said they were able to gather evidence, identify a suspect, and issue a warrant for 32-year-old Orlin Geovany Murillo-Veliz.

He is accused of breaking into a home.

The warrant was given to patrol division officers who worked tirelessly to locate Orlin Geovany Murillo-Veliz.

He was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Bluntzer and Buford Street.

He was transported to the City Detention Center for processing.
