Online threat prompts increased security at local high school

Police are investigating an online threat made this morning toward a local high school.  

Officers from Corpus Christi Independent School District Police and the Corpus Christi Police Department beefed up security today at Ray High School after the threat was discovered.  

No information about the threat has been released, but police say that all threats, even those meant as pranks, are taken seriously and have serious consequences 

Anyone with information about threats or pranks are asked to contact their school’s administration office or CCISD police at 361-289-9247.
