Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi held it’s spring 2019 commencement ceremonies this Saturday, May 11, at the American Bank Center.
This commencement was a special one; TAMUCC will graduate more than 1,160 students, making it the largest Islander commencement ceremony to date.
The commencement was split up into two ceremonies at different times. The first one is at 10 a.m and will include students from the College of Liberal Arts, College of Science and Engineering, and University College. The second one will be held at 2 p.m for students graduating from the College of Business, College of Education and Human Development, and College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Nueces County Judge Barbara Canales was the keynote speaker at the ceremony.
