The third Annual Texas Body Painting Festival will be held May 18, 2019, at Schlitterbahn Corpus Christi.
This festival features professional artists from all over Texas showcasing their artwork and competing for prizes. For the first time, this year, there will be a Student Face Painting Competition.
This year’s official theme is Poseidon’s Realm.
Family friendly painting and activities are available from noon to 6 p.m. Families can get their own face painted, shop around local vendor booths, enjoy food and Schlitterbahn Waterpark.
During this time, students ages 13 and older can compete in a face and neck painting competition.
Participating youth artists will receive a pair of tickets to a Corpus Christi Hooks game and will compete for a chance to win cash prizes.
The full body paint competition will be held from 6 p.m. to midnight. Professional artists will create head to toe pieces of living artwork.
