The Corpus Christi City Council today approved an eight month contract extension for interim technology director Peter Collins.
Collins who was originally hired to fix a software glitch that caused problems with the city’s utility billing system, was later appointed the interim IT director.
Collins initial contract paid him about $32,000 a month, his current extension will pay $160,000 over eight months.
