Every April, the Office of the Associate Dean of Students host Denim Day during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Denim Day became a national event when an 18-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by her 45-year-old male driving instructor.
The perpetrator eventually was convicted, but the conviction was overturned when the justices felt her tight jeans gave consent to the sexual act.
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will hold their annual Denim Day event on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the East Lawn of the school.
