Investigators with the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office have released the name of a driver who was killed in a fatal accident.
According to investigators, 25-year-old Jose Rodriguez Zamora, from Penitas, Texas, was killed in an overnight crash around 12:10 a.m. Monday.

Senior Officer Travis Pace, with the Corpus Christi police department, said the driver of a red Infinity struck a barrier, causing his door to break off. Zamora was ejected from the vehicle.
Officer Pace said speed and wet roads played a factor in the crash.
