A Corpus Christi woman has been reunited with her dog after he ran away from a rollover crash.
The incident happened Sunday evening as Mike and Karen King were driving along the JFK Causeway.
A mechanical failure caused the car to rollover, trapping Mike underneath it.

The couple’s family says after the crash, their dog “Thunder” fled from the scene. The couple was taken to the hospital after the crash.
Thanks to the help of the community, Thunder has been found.
Karen, who has since been released from the hospital, was reunited with Thunder last night.
Mike remains in the hospital recovering from the crash.
