The grounding order issued by President Donald Trump will not have an impact on the Corpus Christi International Airport.
KRIS 6 News checked with airport officials Wednesday afternoon and they tell us that they occasionally get a Southwest Series 800 but not the Max 8.
They added the Max 8 aircraft is not assigned to any flights between Corpus Christi and Houston Hobby.
