If you wanted to know how it will look like inside the new Spohn Shoreline Tower, you now can take a “virtual tour” inside the building.
Visitors, patients and associates are invited to the virtual tours which will include virtual reality goggles, where users can “walk through” the new tower and view the various floors and rooms.
The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital – South, 5950 Saratoga Blvd. Visitors are asked to congregate in the hospital’s lobby.
The ten-story building is currently under construction along Ocean Drive near Morgan Avenue.
The state-of-the-art facility will feature an expanded Trauma Center, Emergency Department and more than 200 new patient beds in ultramodern rooms with beautiful views of the Bayfront. The tower will support CHRISTUS Spohn’s 12-county service area including Alice, Beeville, and Kingsville.
Hospital representatives say the new hospital building will open April 1, 2019.
