The second Brewster Street Icehouse is taking shape on the city’s south side.
Located near Staples Street and Holly Road, it’s called Brewster Southside, and is expected to open in June.
Developer Bill Durrill says that while the project is looking good, there’s still a lot of work to be done, and plans are in place to redevelop the 6-acre plot of land the restaurant sits on and even add more businesses to the property.
Owners say the new venue will be a family-friendly restaurant, with occasional live music.
