A woman accused in the shooting death of another woman at a Corpus Christi home was back in court this morning.
During a brief hearing, Villarreal told Judge Missy Medary that her attorney had backed out of the case Tuesday morning.
Villarreal also said that another attorney she had been speaking to also refused to represent her because of a lack of funds, prompting the judge to give Villarreal a court-appointed attorney.
Villarreal is being held a the Nueces County Jail on a $1 million bond.
