What is Christmas, without the Christmas tree? Christmas has flown by in 2018 and the organic tree you own will begin to diminish.

The City of Corpus Christi says there are two options for you when throwing that tree out.

Curbside or the collection center.

“We know that some people get anxious and they want to get rid of them right away so that’s why we encourage them to go to the  J.C Elliott collection center and they can take those anytime,” says Celina Pulcher.

If you do not own an organic tree, City of Corpus Christi officials says they encourage residents to use these types of fake trees because they last longer and can be re-used.

“Part of recycling is to reduce and reuse and so if you can reuse it in some way you can donate it to a non-profit that doesn’t have a tree or yours is nicer that’s always a good way to get rid of an artificial tree.” Says Celina Pulcher

Collection dates and schedules are in place for residents to leave their trees out on the curb along with brush and bulky items in different areas.
