Over a dozen Corpus Christi police department officers helped deliver food and gifts to 150 families.

In a series of pictures shared on the law enforcement group’s Facebook page, police say, “Early this morning Officers and families gathered to participate in the Police Officers Christmas Angels event.”

“This is the 42nd year that Mr. Bob Corrigan has taken charge of this wonderful event, ” the post continued.

The post stated each family is nominated by a CCPD officer. Officers say they want to make their Christmas a little brighter.

Based on the families reactions, police say they are the ones who walk away feeling blessed.
