This year, more than 1,000 children in the Coastal Bend will not have a Christmas at home with their families. These are children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. CASA of Coastal Bend needs your help to make sure each child has a special Christmas.

You may drop off a gift for a child in crisis at our toy drive held at SAMES Ford Dealership at the Henry Ford Road entrance anytime until Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m at the dealership, 4721 Ayers Road.

They are asking for unwrapped, new items for newborns to 18-year-old kids.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) trains volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in foster care. The items collected during the toy drive will be given to CASA volunteers to deliver to foster children throughout the Coastal Bend.

SAMES Ford is also offering free oil changes for anyone who brings in an unwrapped toy on Saturday for their 4th Annual Toy Drive.

If a group or business would like to hold their own drive until the 15th, they will receive a voucher for free Happy Hour at Brewster Street Ice House when you bring in the group’s collected toys.
