City of Corpus Christi Engineering Services will host public meetings for the design of three Type B Funded Street Projects: Holly Road, Slough Road, and Everhart Road.
Improvements to Holly Road include a full-depth reconstruction and widening of the two-lane roadway with new curb and gutter and sidewalks. Other improvements include new underground stormwater and water systems.
The Holly Road public meeting will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Bayshore Bible Church, 2145 Rodd Field Road.
Improvements to Slough Road include a full-depth reconstruction and widening of the two-lane roadway, new curb and gutter, sidewalks, street lighting, and new underground stormwater. Other improvements include limited upgrades to County Road 7b to facilitate traffic access during and after construction.
The Slough Road public meeting will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Fellowship of Oso Creek, 7402 Yorktown Blvd.
Improvements to Everhart Road include a full-depth reconstruction of the four-lane roadway and center turn lane with new curb and gutter and sidewalks. Other improvements include new underground stormwater, water and wastewater, traffic signals, ADA ramps, and street lighting.
The Everhart Road public meeting will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Schanen Estates Elementary School cafeteria, 5717 Killarmet.
The meetings will begin with an open house at 5:30 p.m. followed by a presentation at 6:00 p.m. During the meeting, a brief description, and the consulting design engineers and City staff will be available to answer any questions.
