A 61-year-old man is dead after being hit by a truck on Ayers Street last night.
Sixty one year-old Abel Jacobo was hit by a vehicle just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when he tried to cross Ayers at Norton.
Police say Jacobo man was not in a crosswalk.
He died at a local hospital.
The driver of the truck that hit him is cooperating with police.
She has not been issued any citations.
