Suspect sought in local bank robbery

Corpus Christi police are looking for a man who robbed a local bank earlier today.

According to CCPD, the man walked into the Plains Capital Bank in the 1400 block of Port Avenue just before noon, and demanded cash.

No one was hurt in the robbery, but the man was able to flee the bank on foot.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his 30s, between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches tall, with short, buzz-cut hair.
