Flooding is still affecting areas around the Coastal Bend.
Access to Labonte Park was cut-off this morning due to continued flooding along the Nueces River.
TxDOT put out barricades this morning on the I-37 exit ramp to the park as the turnarounds are completely under water. Much of the park itself is also underwater.
River levels have been rising because of water releases from Lake Corpus Christi.
The park will be closed until river levels recede and there is no timeline on when that may be.
