A Nueces County Grand Jury has just indicted City Council candidate Eric Tunchez on a charge of aggravated promotion of prostitution.

A Nueces County Grand Jury indicted Eric Tunchez on a charge of aggravated promotion of prostitution.

Nueces County Assistant District Attorney Matt Manning says Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution is a second degree felony.

If convicted, he could face up to 2-20 years in prison.

If any of the people who were allegedly being prostituted are under the age of 18, he could be charged with a first degree felony.

If convicted on a first degree felony, he could face 5 years to 99 years in prison or life in prison.

Tunchez, who is the founder of the group “Stop Bullying”, is running for City Council District 3.
