People from all walks of life coming together and taking part in the 10th annual “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.”
Thousands of people took part in an event committed to battling breast cancer along Shoreline Drive.
KRIS Communications is the proud media sponsor for this event hosted by the American Cancer Society.
Many cancer survivors said the event gives them strength as they continue their brave battles.
Along with the support comes fundraising at the event. Individuals and teams raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for breast cancer research and programs, money that stays right here in our community.
The American Cancer Society is still tallying the numbers from Saturday’s walk.
