A pipeline rupture set off a large fire about five miles outside of Kingsville this morning.
According to Kleberg County Fire Chief Brandon Harris, the fire started around 10:30 a.m. on some King Ranch property near Highway 141.
Crews were able to shut down the line, and Harris says there is no danger to the public.
Several pipelines run through the property, and until the fire burns out crews will be unable to determine which line ruptured or what was burning.
