Texas A&M-Corpus Christi will debut their newest production tonight and they’re making sure everyone can enjoy the show.

The play is called “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time” featuring a 15-year-old boy who sets off to solve a mystery.

The first performance will be tonight, but many of the actors and production staff are working with a psychology professor to transform the play into a sensory-sensitive performance.

Anthony Zoccolillo, Professional Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at TAMUCC said

“The goal of sensory friendly performances is to try and preserve as much of the experience as possible while also being sensitive to the fact that the audience members are or may respond differently,” Anthony Zoccolillo, professional assistant professor in the department of psychology at TAMUCC said.

The sensory-sensitive performance will be at 7 p.m. October 22 at Wilson Theater and will be free. It will be sponsored by H-E-B.
