The 3rd Annual Baconfest in Aransas Pass kicks off Friday night at 6 p.m. for their Texas Under the Star VIP Dinner & Dance event!
This years Baconfest is actually the 2nd annual because last years event was cancelled due to Hurricane Harvey. This family-free event is benefiting the Aransas Pass Police and Fire Departments to showcase their hard work they put in everyday.
On Friday, for the Texas Under the Star Dinner: will be served at 7 p.m. featuring Austin artist Jason Roberts Band

Baconfest 2018 kicks off on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Redfish Bay Boathouse, at 322 Huff Street in Aransas Pass.
There will be plenty of activities free for the whole family, including:
- Bacon eating contest
- Cherry pie eating contest
- Kids donut eating contest
- Police Car pull
- Fire Truck pull
- and plenty more!
