When some residents look at high grass at a local park behind their homes, they say the appearance is a real eyesore.
The parks are not the only places with high grass.
Residential lots must be maintained by the homeowner. This includes making sure curbs, gutters and sidewalks are up to code.
Also, if these standards are not met, code enforcement will step in.
High grass can also be found on the side of the highway.
Corpus Christi Code Enforcement Officers say if the high grass is about 50 feet from the highway, the Texas Department of Transportation will take control.
Officers with the code enforcement are hoping for a break in the weather.
Any moderation could help get a handle on the big problem
