The identities of two women killed in a head-on crash have been released.
According to DPS Troopers, two women were killed in a fatal crash in rural Nueces County.
The incident happened just after 7 p.m. on Farm Market 665 and County Road 75, between Petronila and Driscoll.
DPS Troopers say a red SUV went into oncoming traffic and struck a white car.
Two women inside the car, 57-year-old Erma Serrato Rodriguez and 51-year-old Maria Serrato, were killed.
The driver of the SUV was transported to the hospital.
She had non-life threatening injuries.
