Today is the Feast Day of Saint Francis, an especially important day for your four-legged friends.
Pet owners from throughout the area brought their pets to the All Saints Episcopal Church today to have them blessed.
According to the church, Saint Francis is the Saint of all of God’s creations, and it’s tradition to bless animals on this day.
“It’s all about love, said Rev. Jonathan Wickham. “Love is what binds us together and it’s what binds us to our creatures and it’s what creatures connect to us with. So it’s all about love.”
