The capital murder trial of a man accused of killing a 13-year-old Corpus Christi boy has ended in a hung jury.
Deliberations that began on Monday in the trial against David Davila, jurors this afternoon said they could not reach a unanimous verdict.
Davila was accused of shooting and killing Alex Torres at the Treway Apartments in January 2015.
The accused getaway driver in the crime, Christina Trevino, pleaded guilty to retaliation. She could face up to 20 years.
Davila would have faced life in prison if convicted.
