The Realms Con Anime, Gaming and Multimedia Convention will provide fans a chance to immerse themselves in the imaginative side of television, film and the world of graphic novels and comics.
Prepare for sensory overload as Realms Con is here for the next three days.
Realms Con, the pioneer of the largest gathering in the Coastal Bend area of comic enthusiasts, gamers, anime fans, horror junkies, sci-fi addicts and more will be at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel today through Sunday.
Realms Con unites different realms of fandoms by bringing well-known celebrities (anime, media, musical) to Corpus Christi in a fun, safe and judgment-free environment.
This year, Realms Con has attracted celebrities such as Jason David Frank (the original green/white Power Ranger), Sam J. Jones (Flash Gordon) and Ken Foree (from Dawn of the Deadand The Devil’s Rejects) to Corpus Christi.
They are also excited to welcome back voice actors Vic Mignogna and Cherami Leigh who have been involved with popular anime series such as Fullmetal Alchemist (Vic) and Fairy Tail (Cherami).

Continuing with their long-standing tradition of family fun, Realms Con 2018 has an array of events planned for our attendees. Music guests will include Steam Powered Giraffe, Sonic Boom and Attractivision.
Their patrons can also partake in cosplay events, panels, workshops, card and video game rooms with ongoing tournaments, variety shows, concerts, DJ’ed raves and a themed ball following a ballroom dance class. Make sure to follow them on Facebook for up to date schedule announcements.
Giving back to the community has always been a priority for them. As a way to stay true to their core values, they are proud to announce the addition of the Outdoor Annex to this year’s roster. If you’ve never been to Realms Con before, the outdoor annex will give you a free sample.
It will include events and attractions, such as Birds of Prey, outdoor performances, anime and comic book themed cars, food trucks and vendors free to the public. Once you have experienced what they have outside, you’ll want to buy a pass to come in and meet the celebrities and see all of the other events they have going on.
One of the demonstrations showcased at the Outdoor Annex is Adrian Paul’s “The Sword Experience.”
You can also meet some of the community partners like CASA, Corpus Christi Humane Society, Walgreens, Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation, La Retama Central Library, and Coastal Bend Blood Center who have joined them in giving back something exceptional to our community.
Operation hours for the inside venue are 10 a.m.-3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday then 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets for the convention are $60 for a three-day weekend pass, $40 for a single-day pass on Friday or Saturday, and $20 for a Sunday pass.
The outdoor Annex runs Friday 12 p.m.- 12 a.m., Saturday 10 a.m.- 12 a.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. -4 p.m.with free admission each day, all day.
