The eradication process of field mice at the AMC movie complex is continuing.

The local theater is continuing to set traps as the City-County Health Department proceeds in its inspection.

A formal report is expected on Monday.

During an inspection Wednesday at the AMC movie complex, local health inspectors looked for cleanliness and traces of more field mice.

KRIS-TV previously reported that the health department discovered 21 field mice during their first inspection on Tuesday. On their second trip the following day, more field mice were found. An exact number or rodents has not been ascertained.

AMC has presented a plan of action to the health department they hope will reduce field mice in their facility.

The health department says it is sticking to a monthly plan aiming to have a reduction in the mice population.

If this plan does not work, the health department could take further action, including closing the building down.
