A trial has begun for a man accused of shooting and killed a 13-year-old boy.
Prosecutors say David Davila killed Alex Torres back in January 2015. Also, another woman is accused of taking part in the shooting. She pleads guilty.

David Davila’s attorney accused the prosecution of creatively editing facts.
A number of witnesses testified Tuesday afternoon including law enforcement officers and also first responders.
Darryl Anderson, an officer with the Corpus Christi Police Department, said he was first on the scene of that shooting at the Treyway Apartments.
He described the scene as chaotic.
Also, a witness identified Davila in the courtroom and said that’s the man she saw fleeing from the scene of the shooting.
Testimony concluded at 5 p.m. As a result, the trial will pick back up Wednesday morning at 8 a.m.
